Here's Exactly What Happens When You Book

This isn’t a high-pressure sales call. It’s a short, honest conversation to help you understand your options, get your questions answered, and decide whether moving forward feels right for you.

01

You Tell Us What's Going On

In your own words, share what you’re experiencing — whether that’s depression, anxiety, chronic pain, burnout, trauma, or simply a sense of feeling stuck. The more we understand about your symptoms, history, and goals, the better we can determine whether ketamine therapy may be an appropriate and supportive next step.

02

We Answer Your Questions

Wondering whether ketamine or Spravato might be appropriate for you? Not sure which treatment path makes the most sense? We’ll answer your questions, review what you’ve tried, and help you understand your options.

03

We Map Out Your Next Step

If we’re a good fit, we’ll explain the evaluation process and what to expect next, including timeline, preparation, and treatment options. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll be honest about that — and help point you toward resources or providers that may better serve your needs.

This Call May Be Right For You If...

dr. gillin san diego

Dr. Gillin is a board-certified physician with dual certification in anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology. After observing that many patients needed more than ketamine alone to sustain meaningful improvement, he expanded his clinical focus to address the biological, metabolic, and lifestyle factors that drive long-term mental and physical health outcomes. He is trained through the Institute for Functional Medicine and in integrative medicine, applying a root-cause, systems-based approach to optimize brain health, resilience, and overall longevity.

What Patients Say About Their Experience

"After years of treatment-resistant depression, Seaside Ketamine gave me my life back. Dr. Gillin and his team are exceptional, compassionate, professional, and thorough."

"I was skeptical at first, but the results were remarkable. Within days of my first IV ketamine infusion, the darkness lifted. The team made me feel safe and cared for throughout."

"Spravato was covered by my insurance and the Seaside Ketamine team handled all the paperwork. The private treatment rooms are beautiful and calming. Highly recommend."

There’s no catch and no hidden fees. The 15-minute consultation is a real conversation — focused on understanding your needs, answering your questions, and helping you make an informed decision about your care.

You’ll speak with a member of our clinical team who is trained to answer your questions, review your history, and help determine whether our services are an appropriate fit for your needs.

That’s exactly what this call is for. Many people who contact us aren’t sure yet — and that’s completely okay. This conversation is designed to give you clarity, not pressure, so you can make a thoughtful, informed decision about your next step.

Spravato® (esketamine) is often covered by insurance for eligible patients, and our team will help verify your benefits and explain any out-of-pocket costs before treatment begins.

IV and IM ketamine are typically self-pay services, as they are not yet broadly covered by insurance for mental health indications. We provide transparent pricing and will review all fees with you in advance so there are no surprises.

Yes. Many of our patients begin treatment while continuing their existing medications. Being on an SSRI or other antidepressant does not automatically exclude you from ketamine therapy.

We carefully review your full medication list during the evaluation process to identify any potential interactions and determine whether adjustments are needed. In many cases, ketamine can be safely integrated alongside your current treatment plan under medical supervision.

We typically schedule the 15-minute call within 1-2 business days of your submission.

If we determine that Seaside Ketamine is a good fit, the next step is a comprehensive medical and psychiatric evaluation. During this visit, we’ll review your history in depth, discuss your symptoms and goals, assess safety considerations, and design a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.
